I still think it'll be the reason behind his character's role because they haven't revealed this in-universe (yet as far as I remember).

Larry's Gym Leader status might be the reason he isn't fighting here.

after all the way they've got the terra training set up, it's like a series of tests, and perhaps fighting other gym leaders who are more powerful will be part of the more advanced tests, and they did have Rhyme show up during Roy's episode a while back, so I could see her as his next test challenge.

There is also this to consider, Larry's gym is where one can change a pokemon's terra typing, i'm sure learning about that and wanting to do it could be considered advanced level stuff around terrestrializing.

Of course this is just an opinion but still.

Also, Brassius and Hassel going at it looks cool, considering they are art buddies.

What about Flower Trick aka its signature move?

Seed Bomb is possibly the next move in line for Flora to learn: It will likely have a different visual to Magical Leaf (who is probably going to "evolve" into Leaf Storm or something) that could be set up for Flower Trick.

Alternatively, Magical Leaf could be the one to evolve into Flower Trick since it's Flora's signature move akin to Pikachu's Thunderbolt and already has the "never miss" property.

The fact they have Hattrem using Brutal Swing means Dark moves are on the table (since I always felt they were silent banned as most convey fighting dirty and/or sound morbid like Night Slash/Crossroad Killing), that means Meowscarada is hopefully allowed to use Dark moves unlike Ash's Greninja.

the moveset is for Floragato not Meow, but Meow can def have Flower trick, night slash/sucker punch/Foul play, Play rough, Leaf Storm/energy ball/Aerial ace

I could see them keeping Quick Attack for Meow, if Sucker Punch is too "dirty" of a move for Liko to use and works like in the games that it whiffs against non-attacking moves. Quick Attack is like the quintessential "get up close to the opponent" move that most Pokemon of Flora/Meow's build have. She just really needs a move to capitalize on when she actually DOES get up close which is where a move like Play Rough, or Aerial Ace/Acrobatics can come in.

Alternatively, Knock Off could be a move Flora could have that makes use of her flower bud. Plus Liko kind off already made Flora use it during her battle against Ann when she had her well...knock off Dewott's scalchops to halt its attack.

Probably not leaf storm
Going from a move that can not miss to a 90% accurate move that lowers the users attacking stat is a massive downgrade especially with Liko's way of battling
