Why do people use IdentoGO? ›

As an approved FBI Channeler, IdentoGO Centers can securely capture and transmit your individual information to the FBI and safely allow you to access your Federal background check results.

Allow 3-5 business days for processing. Your nine-digit Federal tax ID number or EIN number will be the identifier for your account, along with an account name.

Do not contact Identogo Systems or the fingerprint site after your fingerprints have been submitted. Processing takes 2-3 weeks. If you do not receive your results in 2-3 weeks, call (855)845-7434 or visit uenroll.identogo.com.

IDEMIA will provide all Authorization Codes to an email address provided by Customer, in a password-protected file. Customer may distribute the Authorization Codes to applicants via any method of delivery (e.g., email, US mail).

As part of the application process, travelers must pay an $78 fee and go through the enrollment process — including showing identification documents and providing fingerprints. The membership is valid for five years.

The FBI background check will include a comprehensive criminal record check against the FBI's national database, which will include arrest and conviction history, as well as traffic violations and even parking tickets.

After submitting your fingerprints, please be patient; we anticipate a lengthy queue. A background check will be conducted by USPS within that time frame. The USPS office doing your background check should get back to you within a few days, assuming they aren't too swamped with applications.

Appointments are available by scheduling on-line at http://www.identogo.com or by calling 1-888-467-2080. The cost of this service is $9.95 plus a $31.50 fee for the State and National Criminal History Record Information.

Texas Education Agency (TEA) receives the fingerprinting results 5-7 business days after the fingerprint appointment. Applicants for certification residing Out-of-State can use an approved Out-of-State MorphoTrust/Identogo fingerprinting location.

How long does it take to complete the DOJ/FBI fingerprint process? The Live Scan Process takes approximately 3-7 days once DOJ/FBI receives your 41-LS form. Out-of-state applicants must complete the FD-258 "hard-Card" manual fingerprint process, which takes approximately 10-12 weeks to complete.

Your UE ID is on the receipt you got when you were fingerprinted for your TSA PreCheck enrollment. This receipt isn't the same as your approval letter. Your approval letter was mailed to you after your Enrollment Center appointment and has your KTN on it.

Pay for your service using an Authorization Code or Credit Card. If the Service is Auto-Billed to your Agency, payment will not be required.

An authorization code is a six digit alphanumeric code which is generated after making a transaction. You need to contact your Bank / Card provider for helping you with the Authorization Code specific to the transaction date and amount.

For example, a credit card authorization code is a five- or six-number code from the issuing bank to the vendor, that authorizes the sale. If the credit card used is counterfeit or if the card is over its predetermined limit, the credit card company will automatically decline the sale.
