Sometimes it doesnt even work at all it cant get the time of day from the server it says ************ 6-Notice D501.10 TFTP, Unknown SNMP 30 12 06 0D 2B 06 01 04 01 A0 13 0A 01 01 01 06 and most of the time it says this ************ 7-Information H501.12 HFC: FEC LOCK recovery OK ************ 3-Critical T5.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync ************ 3-Critical H501.4 HFC: LOST TRC SYNC- trying to recover ************ 7-Information H501.12 HFC: FEC LOCK recovery OK ************ 3-Critical T5.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync ************ 3-Critical H501.4 HFC: LOST TRC SYNC- trying to recover over and over again i would like to see the speeds promised by cox but just cant seem to get them. Sometimes it goes fast but most of the time it doesnt even work. I think it might be time to get a new modem |

Your signals are way out of wack, Your signal to noise needs to be above 30, Your Downstream power level is bad, At -20 your modem will drop, And your upstream is also bad, At 55 your modem will drop... basically everything is really bad. You may be able to fix it but more than likely you need to have a tech out... What is your wiring setup, Splitters, Cables etc..... |

Premium Member 2005-Aug-2 3:49 am to archangel29You should check your splitters, and cable setup, your signals are nearing not good. The downstream is out of spec, and the upstream is nearing the limits. |

Are you sure there are no other spliters between you and the drop? |

If you have a TV in more than one room in the house, you have more than one splitter on the line. Take the splitter you have in the room with the modem off, and connect it directly to the wall. Reboot it, and post the signal strength. |

Normally I would suggest that you go to the drop, and test the speed there, but it might just be faster, and more effective in your situation to have a tech look at it for you. |

If possible have him replace the line from the pole to the house. I had that issue with many truck rolls and they finally realized that the line from the pole needed to be changed and that solved all of my issues. |

Re: [AZ] I Have The Premier Package Yet It Still Goes SlowYou are served by a different Cox market, and don't receive the same service that we do in AZ. You are receiving all of your advertised upload at 786. |
